Clear, Competitive Drone Service Pricing
No hidden fees, no surprises. Every quote is itemised and agreed before we fly.
How We Price
Project-Specific Pricing, Always Transparent
DroneMaster pricing is transparent and project-specific. Below are our standard starting rates, designed to give you a realistic sense of investment before you contact us. Complex projects, restricted airspace operations, multi-day shoots, and specialist equipment requirements will affect the final price. Every commission receives a tailored, itemised quote that we agree with you in full before any work begins — so there are never any unwelcome surprises at the invoice stage.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Pricing Questions
What's not included in the starting price?
The starting rates shown cover the core service as described. They do not include travel for locations more than 50 miles from our base in the South East, CAA airspace authorisation fees for restricted airspace (which are passed through at cost), specialist equipment such as LiDAR scanners or thermal sensors on standard photography packages, and any add-ons listed above. Your itemised quote will explicitly list every cost element before you are asked to confirm.
Can I get a fixed price?
Yes. Once we have reviewed your brief and identified all the variables, we issue a fixed-price quote that will not change unless your scope changes. We do not charge day rates with open invoices — you will always know the maximum cost before we start. If an unexpected complication arises on the day that requires additional work, we will discuss and agree any cost impact with you before proceeding.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel within 50 miles of our base is included at no charge. For locations further afield, we charge a mileage rate of 45p per mile (HMRC approved rate) for the excess distance beyond 50 miles, plus accommodation if an overnight stay is required for multi-day or early-morning shoots. All travel costs are itemised clearly in your quote.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled flight date receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Within 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable but fully transferable to a rescheduled date. Cancellations on the day due to client-side reasons (not weather) may incur a mobilisation fee if our pilot has already departed for site. Weather-related postponements are always handled free of charge and rescheduled at the earliest mutually convenient date.
Do you offer subscription pricing for regular clients?
Yes. Clients who commission regular work — such as monthly construction progress surveys, quarterly estate photography updates, or recurring event coverage — can benefit from a retainer arrangement that provides a guaranteed booking slot, priority scheduling, and a discounted rate of 10–20% depending on volume and contract length. Contact us to discuss a retainer agreement suited to your programme.
